|MODESTO, CA – – Today, the Modesto Bee announced its endorsement of George Radanovich in the 4th Senate District.|
The Bee cited “Radanovich’s breadth of experience…on a range of topics from mountain wildfires and water policy to crime and health care.” The Bee also noted Radanovich’s advocacy for helping children deal with adverse experiences early in life, giving them a better chance of success in adulthood.
“I’m glad The Bee recognizes that representing this vast Senate District takes someone with a command of the issues as diverse as crime, water, tourism, fires, transportation and many more,” said George Radanovich. “It also takes someone willing to go to Sacramento and fight the liberal super-majority that believes all of California is like San Francisco or Los Angeles.”
George Radanovich is a former U.S. Representative, small-business owner and winemaker. He has served as an elected member of the U.S. House of Representatives representing our area and as President of the California Fresh Fruit Association. In Congress, Radanovich was a fierce advocate for California’s agricultural, natural resource and tourism industries.
The 4th Senate District is located in the valley, foothills and mountains of Eastern California and is split between the whole counties of Alpine, Amador, Calaveras, El Dorado, Inyo, Mariposa, Mono, Stanislaus, Tuolumne and portions of Madera, Merced, Nevada, and Placer counties.
